UnWine
These are non-alcoholic or very low-alcohol wines. These drinks are generally made from grapes and include a fermentation process – which converts the grape juice into wine. Then the alcohol is removed through a dealcoholization process – more on this later. It’s almost impossible to guarantee a 100% removal of alcohol, so UnWines that fall under this category list a 0.5% ABV.

St Regis Non Alcoholic Shiraz Rose Wine [Review]
The St Regis Dealcoholized Shiraz Rose was the first dealcoholized wine I tried, and it inspired me to start Social Unbuzz. This non alcoholic wine was featured in several articles, including Money Inc’s The 10 Best Non-Alcoholic Wines in the World and Food Network’s 15 Convincing Non-Alcoholic Wines You Should Try. If these big publishers…

Chateau del Ish Alcohol Removed Sparking Rose [Review]
Chateau del Ish Sparkling Rose is the second non-alcoholic wine we’ve reviewed from this brand. Earlier this year, we reviewed the Chateau del Ish Non Alcoholic White Wine, which received an average rating. We were excited to see if this non-alcoholic wine would rank higher as a wine substitute. Unlike the Sparkling White Wine, the…

Fre Non Alcoholic Rose [Review]
Today we’re reviewing another Fre Non Alcoholic Wine! Just to recap, Fre is a brand of Non Alcoholic wines created by the same producers as Sutter Home wines. It’s meant to be made in a similar quality to their traditional wines, and is widely available at local grocery stores due to their distribution network.

Leitz Zero Point Five Alcohol Free Pinot Noir [Review]
Leitz Zero Point Five is the first German UnWine we’ve reviewed on Social Unbuzz. It’s also known as “Eins Zwei Zero” in Europe, which is translated as one two zero. This branding is very similar to the alcoholic version of their traditional wine and I love the direct reference to the 0% ABV. From a…

Chateau del ISH Non Alcoholic Sparkling White [Review]
I first found the Chateau del ISH brand through a blog by Zero Proof featuring their must-try non alcoholic wines. The Chateau del Ish was listed among their top recommendations. Unfortunately, Chateau del ISH isn’t available locally, so it had to be ordered from their online store or through another non-alcoholic wine website. As inconvenient…

Luminara Red Blend (2018) Non Alcoholic Red Wine [Review]
We surprisingly discovered Luminara Non Alcoholic Red Blend by accident. When we were ordering the Fre non-alcoholic wine, we reviewed earlier, the website also had the Luminara Red Blend available. At the time, it was only available in the 375 ml bottle which is ½ the size of a regular-size Fre. Despite the smaller bottle,…

Fre Sparkling Brut Alcohol Removed Wine [Review]
What I like most about Fre wines is their availability. Locally, I can pick it up at Total Wine or even my neighborhood Publix. The convenience is great because you don’t have to wait 2-7 days to receive an online order. They’re also available on Amazon Prime, perfect for those weekly in-home deliveries.

Ravishing Rose from Van Loveren Family Vineyards [Review]
When wines are given names like “Ravishing”, it sounds very oversold. I purchased it because it was one of the few options available locally.

Types of Non Alcoholic Drinks
Just like the endless variety of alcoholic drinks, there are just as many, if not more types of non-alcoholic beverages. Rolling Stones Magazine did a great job categorizing the different types of non-alcoholic beverages in the market. They break non-alcoholic beverages into the following segments: Sham Spirits, Premade Potable, Makings for Mocktails, Unwine, and Near…

Top 5 Non-Alcoholic Wines
On my journey to find which “Wines” to try, I searched for recommendations. With food and drink, we all have our preferred tastes, so instead of listening to just one writer, my method of ranking the top non-alcoholic wines was to see which wines were featured the most. After all, if enough people recommend the…
