Chateau del Ish Sparkling Rose is the second non-alcoholic wine we’ve reviewed from this brand. Earlier this year, we reviewed the Chateau del Ish Non Alcoholic White Wine, which received an average rating. We were excited to see if this non-alcoholic wine would rank higher as a wine substitute. Unlike the Sparkling White Wine, the Sparkling Rose was awarded a second accolade from Bartenders’ Brand Awards. Is it a sign that this non alcoholic wine has a leg up on the Chateau del ISH white? TLDR? Skip to the rating.
About Chateau del ISH from ISH Spirits
In our previous review of Chateau del Ish Sparkling White, we shared how Chateau del ISH is one of the brands owned by ISH Spirits. Chateau del Ish, like many other alcohol alternative brands, was founded with the goal of providing an alternative for those who choose to not consume alcohol.
ISH Spirits is unique amongst other brands in its commitment to supporting community initiatives such as environmentalism and mental health. Most wine companies only focus on the fun and exciting aspects of alcohol, such as social gatherings and having a good time. It’s admirable that ISH Spirits has a goal of improving the lives of those who have been negatively affected by alcohol.
Besides a responsible supply chain where our recycled materials has minimal impact on the planets resources, our main SDG contribution consists in the advancement of a healthier global alcohol culture.
Did you know that 13 of the 17 Global Goals are undermined by alcohol (see WHO report)? That’s a serious problem.
We like to inspire a healthier alcohol culture by making mind-blowing, non-alcoholic options widely available to the consumer. That’s our contribution and why we’ve created a mindful drinking company.

How to make Non alcoholic Rose
Chateau del Ish removes the alcohol from their traditional sparkling Rose with the vacuum distillation method.
The grapes are harvested and pressed directly, inoculated with a yeast culture and fermented in steel vats. Following fermentation the wines are gently de-alcoholized in a proprietary vacuum distillation process in order to maintain the distinct properties of the grapes.
…We gently de-alcoholize our wine at low temperatures to maintain the distinct properties of the grapes in order to deliver the most authentic non-alcoholic wine experience for the mindful drinker.

Alcohol Removed Sparkling Rose First impressions
I’m drawn to rose wines because of the beautiful color. As a millennial – the “millennial pink” hue just speaks to me! It’s subtle, yet beautiful just the same. The Rose was packaged in a traditional glass wine bottle, and sealed off with a cork and cage. In a somewhat new style, the cork wasn’t wrapped in foil, a style choice I also love! Foil is traditionally used to keep dust out, as wine bottles can sit in warehouses and cellars for years. As non alcoholic beverages can more easily be shipped directly to consumers, I don’t mind the cork being exposed.
When we opened the cork, it smelled just like rose – with no odd or sour scents. It was strange that the only scent missing was the bite from the alcohol. Overall it was a great first impression, and a sign that this unwine would taste great.
What does Alcohol Removed Sparkling Rose Taste Like?
With its pale salmon hue and notes of plum, strawberry and raspberry our blend of Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes is nicely balanced in it’s acidity and perceived as dry (or Secco) for sparkling wines. Château del ISH Sparkling Rosé gives you that classic easy-to-drink rosé experience.

The taste of this non alcoholic Rose was very fruity and not too sweet. I would describe it as refreshing and light. It had medium-sized bubbles with a bit of must that made the drink more complex than a typical juice.
NOTE: We didn’t finish the bottle in 1 sitting. After a week with a stopper in the fridge, the Chateau del Ish Sparkling Rose lost most of its fruity flavors and some of the bubbles.
You’re left with a drink with light grape flavors. In other words, we recommend enjoying this drink in one sitting!
Chateau del Ish Alcohol Removed Sparkling Rose Rating and Review
Overall, this non-alcoholic drink was very good. It had nice notes of fruits that complimented the taste of the rose wine grape must. This non alcoholic drink gets 4 Sips – RECOMMEND everyone should try it at least once. The rating of this wine reflects the wine-link taste and the bubbly texture of the drink. Although the bubbles were larger and soda like, the balance of flavors made it a good option for us.
