Non Alcoholic Untitled Art Italian Style Pils Review [REVIEW]

Ever hear the saying, “Shoppers shop with their eyes”? With Untitle Art’s Italian Style Pils, this was definitely the case. While shopping at Whole Foods, this can of “Non Alcoholic” caught my eye with its bold red lettering and unique artwork. Without hesitation, it was in my basket and I was checking out. Will this non alcoholic live up to its label? Check out our review below.

Bottle Design & Packaging for Non Alcoholic Untitled Art

As mentioned – I didn’t properly read the label before purchasing this Non Alcoholic. And up until I finally got home, I thought it was a NA Red Wine. After all – the label had red lettering. To my surprise, I realized it was an Italian-style Pils. Although I was still hopeful that Pils was a type of wine, a quick search proved me wrong. Pils was short for Pilsner – a type of beer.

I’m sure I wasn’t the only person to confuse it for an NA wine. So it makes sense why they’ve chose to redesign the label. A few years ago I actually picked up this NA beer, but never got around to reviewing it. I love that it still features the same artist, Noelle Miller, but the layout changed to feel much more like a beer. Check out the before and after below:

Tasting Notes

FLVR! NA Italian-Style Pils is a refined, crisp pilsner that showcases the delicate balance of tradition and innovation. Dry-hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Strata hops, this brew offers floral and herbal aromas complemented by a hint of citrus and subtle tropical fruit. The clean, refreshing finish and light malt backbone make it an endlessly drinkable choice, whether you’re pairing it with a delicious meal or sipping it solo. Crafted for those who appreciate a classic pilsner with a touch of modern hop character — all without the alcohol.

How does Non Alcoholic Untitled Art Italian Style Pils Taste?

The beer was light without having a strong bitterness to it. As a person who doesn’t typically like hoppy beers, I didn’t find it too off putting. It was super easy to drink, with the bubbles adding a refreshing taste that made each sip an enjoyable experience. I also enjoyed seeing the foam head after pouring – no special skills needed for that traditional beer touch! It created a nice aesthetic and added to the overall experience. Its mild flavor profile wasn’t overpowering, allowing me to enjoy the drink with my meal.

How I paired the Non-Alcoholic Italian Style Pilsner

Non Alcoholic Untitled Art Italian Style Pils

If there’s a food/ beverage pairing that takes me back to my college days, it’s a Pizza and Beer. And while I may not be ordering dominos and Papst anytime soon, home-baked pizza and NA beer might do the trick. Our artichoke and mozzarella pie went well with the untitled art, providing a refreshing compliment.

About Untitled Art

Untitled Art call themselves “Artists of Flavor” and I can see & taste their vision! Considering how many breweries are covered with mural and graffiti art, I’m surprised this is the first brand I’ve seen lean into the Art culture of beer.

At Untitled Art, we were tired of sipping on uninspired drinks with flavors that fell flat and didn’t excite the palate. So we decided to change the game. Our mission became to create the boldest, most flavorful drinks in their categories that ACTUALLY DELIVER what you expect. We push boundaries and make the drinks we love ourselves, because life’s too short for boring beverages.

Value / Cost

A single can of beer was $2.99 at my local Whole Foods location. This price is comparable to other beers, both Alcoholic and non alcoholic. They also offer Untitled Art by the case at comparable prices, so I could see someone making the swap. As more of a wine drinker, this is something I’d drink if it were available. But not something I’d go out of my way to purchase.

Untitled Art NA Italian Style Pilsner Rating

After getting over the fact that I wasn’t going to taste a red wine, I have to admit, this Italian Style Pilsner grew on me. It was light, bubbly, not too hoppy and easy to drink. I can see pizza, burgers and other traditional bar foods pairing well. I give this a 4-sip rating! If you enjoy lighter beers, and are looking for NA alternatives, this one definitely makes the cut.
