The first box I purchased from Betty Buzz was so good that I had to try the rest of their collection. Needless to say, I went back and ordered the Entertainment Gift Box with ALL their drinks. This time, the box included a full-page poster of all the products – plus recipe ideas AND a link back to their page – just in case you wanted to find out more. In this part 2 review, we will be reviewing the last 2 drinks in the Betty Buzz lineup – Ginger Beer and Tonic Water. Skip to the review here.
What does Betty Buzz Ginger Beer taste like?
Clean, fresh ginger taste with the perfect balance of spice.

Out of all 5 of the Betty Buzz flavors, by far my favorite was the Ginger Beer. As someone who regularly enjoys straight-up ginger shots, I was impressed with the authenticity of the flavor. There’s also a chance I may have a garden full of these amazing rhizomes. Ginger Beer even had the typical after-kick and ginger spice. Unlike my ginger shots, these were more fun – with bubbles and just a hint of sweetness.
Betty Buzz Ginger Beer Review and Rating
The Betty Buzz Ginger Beer gets 5 sip from us! The spiciness of the drink keeps me from chugging it down like a ginger soda. There was also a touch of sweetness, so not as bold as a ginger shot. We’ll try some recipes that Betty Buzz recommends and post the ones that stand out!

What does Betty Buzz Tonic Water taste like?
A light and refreshing American style tonic water, not overly sweet or bitter. Lots of small bubbles makes it the perfect pair for Gin or Vodka… and delicious on its own.
True to the name, Betty Buzz Tonic Water tastes well, like tonic water. I’ve never liked this type of drink since I’ve never been a fan of the taste. Quinine, the main flavor profile of tonic water, always had a chemical-like note to me. Although not my favorite, the drink itself won’t disappoint fans of tonic water in terms of its taste and flavor profile.
Betty Buzz Tonic Water Review and Rating
This Betty Buzz also gets the same rating of 4 sips. It’s a great replacement for current mixers. Although I’m not a fan of the taste, if I had to make a drink with tonic water, there is no reason I wouldn’t reach for the Betty Buzz.

About Parent Company
I love to hear origin stories from founders – especially when the product was created for their own use. This is the case with Blake Lively – who simply doesn’t enjoy drinking alcohol due to the side effects. Apparently, she would make alcoholic drinks for her guests, but wouldn’t drink them herself. She started to cook up her own mixers, and since so many people liked them, she launched her own brand. There’s nothing greater than a founder creating a product for themselves, then sharing the success with their customers.
Final thoughts on Betty Buzz
Overall, Betty Buzz has been a great surprise. All the flavors were very well thought out – with each drink highlighting its respective ingredients. The Ginger had the kick of spiciness, the grapefruit had the subtle bitterness, and the lemon and lime both had the telltale characteristics that make them just a bit different. I would definitely recommend adding them to any well-stocked bar.
